Tuff Love Productions was founded in 1999 when friends Richard (soundcloud.com/thebeatmaster), Ashley (Misty aka soundcloud.com/thekracken), Darren (Dowski) and Daniel (KarmaKazi soundcloud.com/dangermousereturns), began composing/samping UK Hip Hop/Trip Hop together in their bedroom setups. From the outset, the concept of TLP was to write and record songs based on themes and emotions from different situations each had confronted throughout life and balance this with the way they had learned from them.

TLP made their first public appearance at the Live Bar in Deptford in 2004, South London, joining other UK Hip Hop/Rap acts entertaining the crowded venue. They continued to gain stages in more recent years in London bars and clubs with a residence at Dirty South Lee and showcases at The Red Star Camberwell, Punk Soho Street and most recently at The Miller London Bridge.

TLP have evolved remarkably from their origins of Hip Hop sample based music to produce a selection of original, written and composed songs covering a wide variety of styles while continually striving to deliver heartfelt and powerful vocal performances.
